All we have to go on for this Age, as with several others, is what we can glean from a solitary journal entry on Cyan's old Myst, Riven, and D'ni website.

Atrus mentions in the entry we are given that the plants of this Age react very strongly to the light of the sun and the changes in tempereature. At night, the trees of the Age lay flat against the ground, and then at dawn twist to greet the rising sun, tracking its movement across the sky, and changing from pale blue to green to yellow-orange, and presumably back to blue again by sunset.
