The Nemel Lotus is a very large plant in the Swamp which reacts to light and the insects which pollinate it. It produces a large cage of fruits, which the Grossamery feeds on when ripened. This cage actually signals the Grossamery by pressing in on a spore release tube as it ripens, trumpeting its readiness with a loud burst of luminescent spores when the plant reaches its maximum ripeness.
