    This peculiar vegetable is perhaps Spire's only living plant life. It grows in long green stalks, ending in goo-filled pods. It is not very abundant, nor is it very tasty, but it is at least proven to provide some nutrition.

     

    After Sirrus' own food supply ran out, he was forced to cultivate these plants for food, and reserved space for a garden to do so. It seems that Sirrus also was collecting the gooey substance found inside the pods, which he probably coated his bombs with to prevent premature contact with grounded objects.
