  1. Chapter 1: Encounter The three of us entered the Forbidden Valley during the afternoon break. Of course, it took us a while to plan for our entry. Judging by a small D’ni watch kept in the Chamber of Discipline – a mystery in itself, for how could a device that small operate without the use of fire or water? – It was night in D’ni. Our presence would be undetected. If there was a single living soul in the Valley, he would have seen three shadows looming over the limestone wall: one peering downward in fascination, one crouched bravely like a predator about to
  2. It is dark, so dark. But why should this be surprising? I was born in shadow, raised in shadow, and will probably die in shadow. I am a Bahro, after all; a living, breathing shadow. Nothing more. My name is Kantath, and my tale is not a happy one, but I feel it is one that must be spoken. You might think of me as a feral beast, or a mad demon of some sort, but please listen to me, just to calm my weary soul. The beginning of my life is a mystery even to me. I do not know who my birth parents were. Just glimpses of memories. However, I think I have managed to piece together the story o
  3. Yeah, I guess that's why I requested it. I guess I needed some inspiration. No, it's far from finished... and not to mention I stink at commitment. I'm sort of in a writer's block. Yeah, I'll add it to the library.
  4. I like the idea - I'm looking forward to it.
  5. I get the idea, lego addict...
  6. You mean the cross? No, I'm not sure the D'ni had anything like that - although I'll incorporate religious references to the traditional D'ni and the Bahro when possible.
  7. Point taken - but I was trying along the lines of "I am Sirrus, and I will not be defeated," or "I am lion! Hear me roar!" Saying "I am blank," in my opinion, gives sort of an ego boost. Try it: say: I am insert-your-name-here. Makes you feel good, no?
  8. Thanks - but do any of you have any criticizm in terms of grammer or plot or anything? Also, if any of you are part of fanfiction.net, can you please review it? I'd be eternally grateful.
  9. No problem. At least I know someone read it!
  10. Thanks. But are you sure? In the D'ni Dictionary, a phrase was posted "Ken Aytrusokh D'ni."
  11. I'm pretty embarrased to be doing this, but I just posted the first chapter (second part) on ff.net... do you mind giving me some criticism? Thanks. -------- Chapter 1: Encounter The three of us entered the Forbidden Valley during the afternoon break. Of course, it took us a while to plan for our entry. Crystal Bombs

Appears In: M4R Location: Spire These powerful explosives are a product of the evil genius of Sirrus. They are crafted out of the crystals mined throughout Spire, and then charged in Sirrus's Bomb Factory, before being coated in a gooey substance extracted from Spire vegetables to prevent premature explosion. If the coating is shattered and the crystal comes in direct contact with a grounded object, it instantly emits a powerful electric shock, coupled with a green flash and a high-pitched, almost supersonic chime. It does not seem to be intended as a weapon of death. Still, the crystal
  13. Long story. M'buhir and I speculated it as a Bahro nursery ground or something because of all the drawings of Ahnonay and a small circular stone enclosure we assume was for meetings.
  14. Thanks, but seriously, does anyone has any constructive criticism or anything?
  15. Thanks. But any criticisms at all? I mean, I want to improve my writing.
